A recent spate of burglars highlights the needs for residents to secure there homes. Please make sure your ground floor windows and doors are secure at night and when you are out. We do now have a dedecated PCSO for Bramcote Hills whi reguarly patrols on foot. The lighter evenings has also seen a increase in mini motor bikes racing along the public foot paths and bridle path please report any incidents to the police. The police are using the helicopter resource (when it is in the area) to tackle this form of anti social behaviour. We can have an effect so long as we help the police.

This summer there is a wealth of activities Pub ramble, Hemlock Happening, Summer Play Scheme and Picnic in the park. Many thanks to all those putting in a lot of effort to make it happen.

As a community association we have a number of affiliated clubs and groups. This means that they can utilise the newsletter and website facilites to promote them selves. I’m happy to report that people did respond to the help needed, published in the last news letter. Bramcote FC juniors are looking for businesses to sponsor their kit. This club was founded 23 years ago and provides a fun environment for boys and girls to play and learn football. From sports to the Arts the Orchard Theatre Company are still raising funds for the rebuilding of  the Duchess theatre in Long Eaton.
