The current Local Area Commander is Inspector Richard J Stapleford based at Beeston Police Station.Inspector Stapleford took over the role in late March 2005 and has created a dedicated Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) (formerly "Crime Beat Manager" team). 5. Operation Still is currently being run every year to stop illegal use of footpaths, brildle paths and other public open spaces by motor bikes, mini motor bikes, and quad bikes. PC 1945 Paul Matthews (paul.matthews@nottinghamshire.pnn.police.uk) is the co-ordinating officer
